Practice Areas
Overview
At Fuerst Ittleman David & Joseph, Joshua Salmon focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He approaches each case with an eye toward the big picture and the best interest of his clients, but also recognizes that litigation success often comes down to the minutiae. With that in mind, Mr. Salmon takes pride in comprehensive analysis and preparation in every phase from a matter’s inception through its conclusion.
Prior to joining Fuerst Ittleman David & Joseph, Mr. Salmon worked as an associate attorney at several South Florida law firms focusing on commercial litigation, including matters involving insurance disputes, professional malpractice, breach of contract, intellectual property, settlement enforcement, defamation, estate controversies, breach of fiduciary duties, and fraudulent transfers. Through these cases, Mr. Salmon gained significant experience representing individual and corporate clients through all phases of civil litigation in state and federal courts.
Josh originally hails from Kokomo, Indiana. He attended Indiana University to earn his bachelor’s and enrolled in an accelerated graduate program. He attained his master’s degree in public affairs with concentrations in policy analysis, economic development, and financial administration. His desire to experience a larger city and more diverse culture, paired with pursuit of his passion of no longer scraping ice off his car’s windshield during -12 degree weather, led him south to the University of Miami School of Law. He graduated cum laude with his law degree in 2013.
Outside of the office Josh enjoys playing or watching basketball and football, decompressing in the gym, working on crossword puzzles with his dad, and watching or reading almost anything created by DC or Marvel.
